At the dogshow Amsterdam our youngster StormChaser The Fifth Element "aka LeeLoo" took Best of Breed on day 1 and Best of Opposite on Day 2. So very proud!

Our hearts are broken as we had to say goodbye to our lovely foundation girl PHOENIX. She has given us a million happy memories, gorgeous children and was the most loving companion. You never left my side and I will never leave yours.

Our big, puppy training, loving 'Gentleman' Malamute has crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
We lost our Ch. Winchaser's Like Father to Son 'aka' Junior on January 27th 2012.
After a short sickbed the life of this gentlest of Malamutes ended. His kindness, lofe for life and sweet disposition will never be forgotten.

Great news from Indonesia, Legend (Ch StormChaser I Am Legend) finished his Indonesian championship, took BISS and two reserve Best in Group at a CACIB show. And that was just in february 2011, he also was awarded the TOP ALASKAN MALAMUTE 2010 title for Indonesia. What a great job by his proud owner Alip from Adakirik kennels.

Rumble (CH. StormChaser's Ready to Rumble) made his owner Nenad Dimitrijevic very proud by taking another BOB and a Group 2. This also finished Rumble's Serbian championship making him champion number three out of the Diesel X Heaven litter. Huge congrats to Nenad and Rumble!

On an extremely warm and humid day Diesel (in great form and spirit) took another Best Of Breed and went on to have a good time in the massive group. He took home 4th place and another trophee! And this was his final point to finish his Belgian Championship, Way to go Diesel!!!

On his first ever dogshow at only 6 months old, Brenda Liebrand's "Commander" took Best Puppy and took home a grand experience. More shows to come for this promising youngster.

--- USA/LUX/NL Ch Sno Quest's Limited Edition ---
Ch SnoQuest's Limited Edition(Diesel) on his first outing in the UK took Best of Breed! Malamutes entered 149, expertly judged by specialist judge Sue Ellis. Group judge was mr. Frank Kane, he wrote in 'Our Dogs' newspaper on the first 4 placed dogs and: "these four were pressed by the Alaskan Malamute, whose type and balance pleased me enormously, and whilst he was very accurate on the move, looked a little tired. Had he gone into top gear, he would have been higher" Diesel earned his first CC!!! Kath Howard of Hawkam kennels took Best of Opposite with (now a UK Champion) Ch Hawkam's Harlequin. What a great day we all had and what a fantastic venue it was. More then 13.000 dogs in 4 days and congratulations to all winners at the show and thanks to everybody for their help and it was great meeting so many Mal lovers in one location.

We hope to be back this year to enjoy more shows in the UK, we had a great time!!!

International CAC/CACIB Dogshow Hoogstraten, Belgium.
StormChaser Once Upon a Time in her first dogshow, took best baby female puppy(3-6 months) and went on to take best baby pup in the breed. And to finish her day out in doggyshowland she became reserve best baby puppy in show in an amazing group of around 40 competitors. No doubt this girl will have a great showcareer.
Int & Dutch Ch.StormChaser Return of the King NJK took Best Male and went on to secure his Best of Breed and earned his International Championship(FCI) as well. Well done King and proud handler Anthonie.

It is with broken hearts that we have to announce the loss of our beloved friend Ch.Windchaser's The Seventh Son
He peacefully passed away in his sleep at 12 and a half years of age. He will be missed forever!

Alaskan Malamute Clubshow in Denmark.
StormChaser Fast and Furious Tikaani lives up to his name by pulling an easy 400kg at the weightpull event in his first pull!
Under the supervision of Nancy Russel(StormKloud Kennels USA)he particpated in the weightpull event.
Tikaani is an allready very experienced sleddog making his runs of 8 kilometers twice per weekend and having a great time doing it.
Great job Claus and Lotte for keeping him in such amazing form.

The new youth champion took his first big title (JW'07) and his 2009 Crufts qualification back home to Marahootay kennels in the UK, where he also is the driving force behind the Marahootay Sleddog Team, on their last runs they beat several Husky teams and we're fastest Mals in the race.

NJK Ch.StormChaser Phantom Menace W06,RS07,BJS06,EJS06,GJS06Phantom took 'Best Male' and then 'Best of Breed' and followed through with taking the 'Reserve Best in Show' in a massive group of 28 Best of Breeds and as it turned out he was the 'Best dog bred by Exhibitor in the Show'. Both boy's made us very proud today!

Another record at StormChaser kennels.Two brothers from the same litter, both becoming Dutch champions in the same dogshow!NJK Ch. StormChaser Phantom Menace took another Best of Breed, this time at the International CAC/CACIB Dogshow in Rotterdam! And his litter brother NJK Ch. StormChaser Return of the King took second place and reserve best male, they both obtained their Dutch Championships on this dogshow.

Fortuna is in her last day's of pregnancy and doing great. She still chases rabbits, allthough with a little less speed then without the pregnancy. But she is very healthy and happy and we cater to her every wish. Just a couple of more day's to go.....................
